DAY 4: How do you show compassion to others? How can you extend that same compassion to yourself?

(SAMPLE ANSWER): With others, it’s easier for me to feel compassionate. If someone I love is struggling, I feel like I carry their pain too. Even though I get frustrated with people sometimes, I still try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But with myself, I’m not always kind. It’s easier to be hard on yourself than others, and I’m not always sure why that is. I see other people’s stories with so much more empathy than I do with my own. I could try to handle myself with more care and give myself some grace. If I make a mistake, I can let that be ok.
